So what? You got rejected today. Maybe you lost something important today. So what? You failed today. Your dreams got shattered like broken shards of polished glass. So what? You live on. You sweep the floor with a broom and move on. This is what you do. Today might feel like an end. But tomorrow is another day. Tomorrow is your day. So get up, hold yourself upright and move.
Fucking move. To fall again. Then again. Until you rise. Because you will. Maybe not today. But someday. You shall rise. And rise so high that no one shall fucking compare to you.

You know…. One thing you haven’t done with a blog titled “Purple Pants” is to find your virginity… As you note, even Richard Branson found it only late in his career!
Incidentally, Dick Branson’s, new book, Finding My Virginity, came out recently.
However, part of English humor is more of a play on words. And, as a result, book sales are sexy. Looking back, if I was to write it….the title would have been a bit more different… FUNDing My Virginity.
Well, no hard feelings, as you advised, I moved on !
So, no offense girl, and jokes apart, go at it…brooms are for witches!
Lovely blog!

These pictures accentuated the words used ever so beautifully. How did you find these pics Shikha?

I too was so shocked when I found them. I thought I might find a image that would come close to it , but not anything that would exactly depict my thoughts. It was truly serendipitous find.

Melanie B refers to a book above, which sounds like the Sarah Knight book I read last autumn “The Life Changing Magic of not giving a f**k”
!!! Very similar … 🥂

That goes hand and hand with the audiobook I’ve listened.

The guy uses raw language but there’s good in what his saying. I wrote a post about it. The book is the subtle art of not giving a f*ck. The title is a bit misleading.

I will definitely go through your post.

So motivational Commander Shikha. I think you hit the spot with this one. I even liked the “bad language”. It really emphasises the moral of your post. 😀

Haha.. Well put Shawn.
I tried to make the thoughts really embed in the reader’s mind. Hence this ‘bad language’ 😛
