It’s been years since I stumbled upon a children’s book. So reading this book for my niece was quite a roller coaster ride.
Colorful, invigorating at the first glance and a mischievous sloth on the front cover, we knew we were in for a ride as soon as we opened the book. And it didn’t disappoint us. Although it was a bit slow start at first, it picked pace as the story grew. Building the momentum with its illustrations and words, hilarious and comic scenes well nurtured, the book held us captive till the last page.
I found that the book grew on me and my niece as we read it on repeat. We had fun with the devilish characters and their quirky personalities at the kitchen table.
A humorous read overall !
