I folded like a touch-me-not,
danced around the words like a
sloshing vodka shot,
whenever you asked me
if I ever loved you–
I carved on your heart
with a knife,
Killed all your hope
with just a sunken breath,
And roasted all our dreams
on silent heat.

Yes, it is damn uncomfortable. If you could just escape it.
